A massive storm, called by CNN a winter ‘bomb cyclone’ to hit the East Coast of the USA

A “bombogenesis” as called by CNN, can bring up to 12 inches of snow to the Northeast of the United States. Sleet and snow are expected in the Southeast on Wednesday.

A “bombogenesis” could dump up to 12 inches of snow in the Northeast.

Sleet and snow are expected in the Southeast on Wednesday. A bombogenesis is a rapidly declining low pressure area that threatens with hurricane-force winter wind gusts. This already to a region that has been chastised by deadly cold weather.

The bombogenesis will result in a ‘bomb cycolone. This is expected to strike on Thursday and dump 6 to 12 inches of snow in New England, together with 40 to 60 mph gusts.

Even Florida will be feeling this storm. In Talahasse, FL, there has been snow, something not seen for 21 years.

CNN also said that Canada is hit by below zero temperatures, with frigid temperatures at the Calgary Zoo was so brutal to the king penguins, that the Zoo employees needed to bring the penguins inside.
