One out of a group of three got into trouble while skiing offpiste and died.
Unfortunately we have one of these sad stories again; a British guy has fall to his death in the resort of Alpe dHuez in the French Alpes.
The mountain rescue unit in Grenoble confirmed that three skiers got into trouble after venturing off-piste in the resort on Saturday morning.

They went the wrong way, and they’ve decided to take their skis off and climb upwards, but the conditions where too steep and icy, and two of the three men fell from what was described as a cliff. A British man was found following his fall.
The second skier was injured but survived. The third one was unharmed. This pair was rescued.
The Foreign Office issued a statement confirming a Briton had died in the mountains: Following the death of a British national in the French Alps, we are providing consular support to the family,” the statement said.
“We remain in close contact with local authorities. Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.”
